The objective of a complex, variable and diversified working space will lead to modules being developed. The modules reflect the different types of working, collaboration, concentration, meeting, relaxing, socializing etc. A variety of probable modules is visualized abstractly. The planning itself will be component based and a reasonable degree of repetition will lead to a flexible and compact planning process. Intersections of the module with the building environment and parameters will lead to a restriction planning for the floor slab.
The slab is transformed into a playground by arranging the different modules according to the user’s ideas of working together and the rules defined in the restriction planning.
Benches for working groups or single workbays that offer more privacy are directly combined with concentration cell, informal curtain booth, meeting spaces and huddle rooms in the building arms.
The center with its movement and visibility is worked out as an entire playground for implemented activity based working. The meeting rooms are not concentrated but evenly spread into the open, multifunctional areas. This allows the entire center to be more penetrable, open and generous. Flexible curtains enable a temporary space creating huddle rooms, workshops etc. Writable and tack walls are spread all around the slab. Different ways of sitting, lying or standing are offered in the different areas. Concentration and private communication areas are mixed in the open environment as phone boxes, private rooms, library of concentration hub.
The horizontal connectivity will be implemented by opening and filling up the center with the collaborative, socializing, communicative environment. The vertical communication between the floors will be implemented by offering different attractions and identities in the center zones around the atrium, allowing people to move easily between the floors and creating more visibility.
