The headquarters of Syngenta International AG is located in the Basel Rosental Site. More than 30 companies and scientific institutes are located here. The new main entrance to Syngenta is added to an existing building on Rosentalstrasse.
The current forecourt is expanded, an existing fence is moved parallel to the area. The new vestibule slides out of the existing cubature under the roof of the one-storey conference center, opens to the forecourt and leads the visitor into the  120 m2 reception area with visitor desk, lounge and security room.
It develops linearly along the south facade. The materiality of the inventory for floor, wall and ceiling is preserved. The three new elements in metal contrast to this: the vestibule in polished stainless steel, the desk in burnished and the security room in bright polished brass.
